It’s not easy to ask for help. I really struggle with putting my pride aside and taking a step back. My experience with Steph was amazing and I will definitely work with her again."
- "I know many people out there have struggled at one time or another with an injury or nagging pain. One of the hardest things for me as a runner is to determine when to power through and when to ask for help, and then when I finally decide I need help, determining where to go. Here are a few reasons why Stephanie is so amazing:
-She is incredibly smart, experienced, and has an awesome ability to break it down in layman’s terms.
-She did an assessment to see where the problem was coming from, then joint manipulation, then dry needling. This was a first for me. Within an hour, my swelling was pretty much non-existent, and I had full range of motion.
-She’s an athlete and a runner. She gets what it means to follow a training schedule, and understands how it feels to miss a run. She GETS runners.
-This should probably be #1....she came to my house for treatment! I know scheduling PT can be difficult with school, work, practices, naps, games, laundry, etc. My kids were upstairs while we worked in the basement. She brought her own PT table and materials. It was incredibly convenient!!
"I highly recommend Stephanie for any runner who is looking to feel better for their next run! Stephanie is extremely compassionate, caring, and easy-going. She is a runner herself and understands what is needed to get you to the starting line. I highly recommend Stephanie to any runner looking to get rid of their nagging injuries!"
"I worked with Stephanie for several months with the goal of being able to run without knee pain. She was knowledgable about physical therapy and running, professional, and eager to help me get back to what I love to do. Her expertise in fitness was a bonus as she gave me tips to have more effective workouts. Not only am I able to run again but I am stronger overall and more aware of how to strengthen my core in order to prevent future injuries."
"Following my ACL surgery I had the opportunity to have Stephanie as my Physical Therapist. She was always very receptive to times when I needed to be pushed and times I needed more of a break. Her positive reinforcement and attitude are as much of the healing process as the practical therapy applications she utilizes. She took what would typically be considered a dreaded process and made it a positive by continually celebrating the progress while keeping the exercises fresh and even fun at times.
If you’re suffering a sports injury, or in need of pre/post operation therapy, do yourself a favor and let Stephanie bring you back to full health – mind, body, and spirit!"
